Sippers & Pickers Fundraiser

Join us for the “Sippers & Pickers” fundraiser benefiting Maggie Derby!

The event will take place Saturday, June 1st at 11am. Located on Easy Street behind the F&M Trolley Barn. We will have face painting, a food truck, specialty cocktails from the White Rabbit Cocktail Parlour, and lots of treasures for sale including: Furniture, housewares, and more.

Maggie is diagnosed with a super rare genetic condition caused by a mutation on her CASK gene. Her diagnosis has led to many disabilities including daily seizures, very low muscle tone, hearing & vision loss, feeding difficulties, and global developmental delay. At 3 years old, Maggie is working very hard to sit independently with hopes that she will be able to crawl or walk in the future. In order to help her gain as much independence as possible, Maggie attends multi-week intensive therapies that last 3-4 hours a day. Unfortunately, this type of therapy is not covered by insurance and they always include travel to find a center that meets her needs. In September, Maggie is attending her second 3 week intensive therapy at SMILE Therapy for Kids in Burlington, Ontario. Funds raised at this event will go to help Maggie attend these needed therapies.
